Anderson  Gunderson will defend his thesis “Comparisons of mitochondrial quality control in lean, severely obese non-diabetic, and severely obese type 2 diabetic humans in primary myotubes from lean,severely obese” on Friday 3/30/2018 in the campus center room 1313.

Doctoral student Benjamin Kugler was accepted to present his abstract titled Effects of Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass Surgery on Mitochondrial Quality Control Proteins in Human Myotubes Derived from Severely Obese Humans.Ben will present his abstract in San Diego on Sunday April 24 ,2018.
